It was a typical Saturday game in March except for the fact the Buffalo Sabres surprised the NHL-leading Nashville Predators with a 7-4 result. But that game in 2018 meant everything to Finnish right wing Eeli Tolvanen, who made his NHL debut that night. He had a little more than 13 minutes of total ice time that night as he got his feet wet for what will certainly be a productive NHL career. He played the next night as well and one more game before the playoff run started. He skated in a handful of games the next season as well and looks to be on the Predators on a full-time basis in the very near future.
