One of the things that make Eeli Tolvanen such an exciting part of the Predators’ future is his ability to put the puck into nearly any spot in the net. His strongest areas are probably the top corners, not unlike most aggressive shooters. But what sets him apart from other young forwards is his aggressiveness in the lower two-thirds. At every level when the puck is on his stick, he has made the goaltender guess, and oftentimes guess incorrectly. He scored his first NHL goal in a game against the Blackhawks on 12/1/18 with a quick 180-degree turnaround in front of the goal that went top shelf into the right corner before the goalie even knew what was coming.
