Ever since he was seven years old, it was a dream of Justin Thomas to win a PGA Championship. This was because he was in the clubhouse with his family for Tiger Woods' 2000 PGA Championship, so this major is very close to his heart. What stood out the most for Thomas was hearing the roar of the crowd as Tiger sunk the most important putt of the tournament and wanting that one day for himself. 17 years later at Quail Hollow, Thomas found himself in contention on the final day of the PGA Championship with the opportunity to have this moment happen for him. The then 24-year-old out of the University of Alabama started to take control on the ninth hole where he made a 35-foot birdie putt, followed by making another birdie putt on the tenth. Thomas made a crucial par putt on the 16th hole as his competition took a step back and then all but sealed his fate with a 15-foot birdie putt on the 17th before finishing eight under to secure his first major victory. After achieving his dream since experiencing Tiger's PGA Championship win, Thomas won a second PGA Championship in 2022 and remains a close friend of Tiger Woods.
Justin Thomas' large autograph by marker is signed on a large piece of p-velvet paper. Then an image is printed on a thick layer of acrylic and framed with the signed paper to create what UDA calls The Show. It's another in a long line of beautiful, finished sports art pieces. Thomas has autographed this The Show in black marker. His signature is deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated's Five-Step Process.
