Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, De'Aaron Fox attended Cypress Lakes High School in Katy, Texas. Known for his quickness, speed, and athleticism, Fox was rated as a five-star recruit and ranked the consensus Number 6 overall recruit in the Class of 2016 by Rivals, ESPN, and 247Sports. After attending one year at the University of Kentucky Fox would enter the 2017 NBA Draft where he was drafted 5th overall by the Sacramento Kings. Fox's quickness makes him one of the most dangerous players on the fast break, his nearly 6-foot 7-inch wingspan also gives him the ability to finish layups at the rim and makes him an elite defender. Fox was the 2023-2024 NBA steals leader averaging 2 steals per game.
