After playing his freshman season at the University of Kentucky, De'Aaron Fox decided to enter the NBA Draft where he was drafted fifth overall by the Sacramento Kings in the 2017 NBA Draft. During his tenure with the Kings Fox has continued to impress. On November 1, 2018, Fox would notch his first career triple-double in a 146-115 win over the Atlanta Hawks finishing with 31 points, 10 rebounds, and 15 assists. On March 26, 2021, Fox would score a career-high 44 points in a 141-119 win over the Golden State Warriors. Fox made his first NBA All-Star Team in 2023 and in the 2023-2024 season would average 2 steals per game making him the NBA steals leader for the season.
