Before Connor McDavid arrived, the Edmonton Oilers had not made the playoffs since 2006. With his arrival in 2015, the Oilers made it to the second round of the 2017 NHL Playoffs. The Oilers defeated the defending Western Conference champion San Jose Sharks in the first round. At the NHL Awards Show in Las Vegas, McDavid was honored with three separate trophies. Most importantly, McDavid was chosen as the Hart Trophy recipient awarded to the MVP of the regular season. This UDA designed image measures out to 16”x20” and includes the inscription “2016-17 Hart Trophy.” McDavid’s signature and inscription were witnessed by a UDA representative.
