One of the most anticipated matches of the Ryder Cup is the Sunday Singles. More often than not Sunday is the day that decides who takes the title. Sunday Singles are the matches where the golfers face off in a head-to-head 18-hole match. In 2023, the US fell behind after not getting a single point until the third Saturday morning match. They needed a big Sunday in order to reclaim the title. Collin Morikawa had to face a familiar face in his singles match. He squared off against Viktor Hovland who was his opponent in the last Ryder Cup in 2021. That match resulted in a tie and Morikawa was hoping for better results this time around. However, Hovland was dialed in, and he was able to win 4 & 3.
