The Memorial Tournament is an iconic annual tournament on the PGA Tour, especially because it was founded by golf legend Jack Nicklaus. Played at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio (also designed by Nicklaus), many big names of the sport have come through and claimed a victory. 2022 was no different, as the Memorial Tournament featured a star-studded field. This tournament belonged to Billy Horschel, who stole the spotlight on this weekend in May. The Florida native shot a solid 70 (-2) in the first round, then caught fire with a 68 (-4) in the second round and a 65 (-7) in the third to head into the final round with a five-stroke lead at -13. On a Sunday where most of the field struggled, Horschel was able to stay locked in. There remained little doubt Horschel would secure the victory after the 15th hole, where he made an impressive 52 foot ten inch putt for an eagle. He would go on to win his seventh tournament on the PGA Tour and earned 550 FedEx Cup points to jump from 30th to 10th in the rankings.
This curve display captures the emotion as Horschel watches his eagle putt roll in. Horschel has autographed this image in silver paint pen. His signature is deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated's Five-Step Process.
