June 23, 2016 may go down as one of the most important dates in Philadephia 76ers history. That was the day the team selected Ben Simmons with the top pick in the NBA Draft. Fresh off playing one season at Louisiana State University, Simmons came to the Sixers with a plethora of high-level experience in college, high school and in the Australian National Team program.
